COACHING STYLE
As the methodology of executive coaching is one of forward movement, action oriented coaching; my coaching style is motivated by the need for the client to be working toward a behavioral modification in three possible aspects of their lives:
• Career goals. The clients’ career goals are a primary target of advancement in the coaching priorities. Improvement in prospects, improved pay, greater status and greater fulfillment in the clients work life are definite advantages in life that the client will experience through the satisfactory accomplishment of career goals.
• Family goals. An individuals’ family life is intrinsically connected to all aspects of life in general. So a life of balance between work and family, and personal satisfaction with this balance are very important to the individuals’ performance at work and through the whole of their life. Executive Coaching can create equilibrium in the various components of a persons’ life and establish a harmony and comfort between work and family life.
• Personal goals. Blending career, family and personal goals is a very important action for a client to pursue. Coaching can facilitate a nurturing process in all three of these goal oriented, action steps towards their fulfillment. Personal goals can include small and large goals involving such desires, as where to spend vacations, or how personal fitness can be achieved. Everyone has different personal goals. One person’s personal goal can be another person’s nightmare. Only the individual can establish their own personal goals, based on their own aspirations, dreams and inspiration. The coach can assist the client in the perception, clarification and embodiment of these personal goals and facilitate the realization of these goals within the clients own actions.
